Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required with 5 years related experience.
Experience operating moderate to heavy construction equipment preferred (civil-related).
Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Operate skid steer, backhoe, excavator, dozer, dump truck and other equipment as needed.
Assist with demolition, grading, asphalt and concrete placement, and utility work.
Read plans, establish grade, and set bases for new construction.
Backfill, trench for pipes, and support other shops for repairs.
Perform traffic control and respond to grounds emergencies as needed.
Work 50% time on equipment operation and 50% on associated duties.
