Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Eight years of Cat equipment experience.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb daily to diagnose/repair.
• Adequate vision to perform repairs and read manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair, and test parts on construction equipment.
• Check equipment and PPE, and prepare for duties.
• Use manuals to perform independent troubleshooting and repair.
• Move parts with lift trucks, cranes, and other aids.
• Use hand and power tools to repair components.
• Climb into vehicles to access all parts of equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble parts; clean and test with equipment.
• Input data into repair records and reference parts information.
