Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company in Hope Mills, NC is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Caterpillar construction equipment at an expert level. You will use manuals, parts diagrams, and diagnostic tools to service engines, hydraulics, powertrains, and electrical systems.

Ability to read manuals and perform diagnostics.

Must be able to document repairs and enter data into records.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair and test parts/equipment on construction equipment.
Use manuals and diagrams to perform independent repairs.
Operate lifts, hoists, and cranes to move parts and equipment.
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on engines, hydraulics, powertrains, and electrical components.
Document repairs and enter data into customer work orders or record systems.
