Job summary

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered seeks two full-time CMAR Construction Engineers/Representatives with process mechanical and/or electrical and I&C experience for large water/wastewater facilities. In-person role; possible part-time start, then five days a week by Jan 2026.

Responsibilities include reviews, coordination, and field inspections to ensure spec-compliant work. Minimum: ABET BS in engineering, 8 years on multi-discipline projects; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with eight years of multi-discipline construction experience.
• PE licensure preferred; strong understanding of codes and safety practices.
• Experience with large water/wastewater facilities and construction coordination.
• Ability to read plans/specifications and apply calculations to field adjustments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across clients, management, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, plans, specs, and technical data.
• Coordinate reviews, submittals, RFIs, and change orders with PM or Owners’ Advisor.
• Inspect construction phases for material compliance with plans and specs.
• Coordinate contractor activities with departments and third parties.
• Participate in progress, schedule, and coordination meetings; perform other duties as assigned.
