Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Construction Engineering Design Manager to lead and coordinate engineering design execution for major semiconductor facility projects from concept through construction. This individual-contributor role provides technical leadership without direct reports.

You will oversee external architecture and engineering partners, align with construction, procurement, and operations, and apply AI-enabled tools to improve design coordination and project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 8+ years in engineering, design management, facilities or capital project delivery
• 2+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams or consultants
• Experience overseeing third-party architecture/engineering firms
• Strong understanding of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design from concept to issued-for-construction packages
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners for safe, compliant designs
• Lead design reviews, resolve issues, manage design-related risks
• Partner with construction, procurement, operations to align work with milestones
• Apply AI-enabled tools to improve design coordination and project execution
