Qualifications

• Ten years of general liability claims handling experience with construction defect claims.
• Five years of supervisory or claims management experience.
• Ability to lead professionals, manage inventory, and oversee litigation.
• Strong judgment on reserves, settlements, and risk management.
• Experience with complex claims and escalation practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Construction Defect claims team; ensure quality, reserves and timely resolution.
• Coach adjusters, develop talent and close skill gaps.
• Identify emerging exposures and implement approved responses.
• Improve procedures, workflows and training; monitor outcomes.
• Set performance expectations and manage accountability.
• Serve as escalation point for complex high‑exposure claims.
• Analyze claims metrics, reserves and litigation data for decisions.
• Review reserves and settlements within authority; escalate as needed.
• Direct assignment of new losses and prioritize handling.
• Partner with Director on staffing and development; enforce policies.
• Oversee audits, corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain risk reviews and ensure appropriate coverage decisions.
• Oversee litigation management, budgets and defense strategy.
• Contribute to claims initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
