Job summary

SR Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Attorney for a Design Professionals Practice opportunity with a prestigious Am Law 200 law firm in New York, NY. The role focuses on advising architects, engineers, and other design professionals on construction contracts, risk management, and project delivery, with significant client contact.

The ideal candidate will have admission to New York, 8+ years of construction law experience, and a track record representing design professionals.

Qualifications

8+ years of construction law experience
Admitted to practice in New York
Experience representing architects, engineers, and other design professionals
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating professional services agreements and construction-related contracts
Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills
Ability to serve as outside general counsel to sophisticated design and construction clients

Responsibilities

Advise architects, engineers and other design professionals on construction contracts, risk management and project delivery.
Draft and negotiate professional services agreements and construction-related contracts.
Provide strategic client counseling and management of complex matters.
Interact with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
