Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel based in St. Louis, MO to support its Central Region.

You will collaborate with operations and leadership to negotiate complex construction agreements and provide pragmatic risk-focused legal guidance across a broad range of projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction-law experience, deep familiarity with design-build, CMAR and procurement contracts, and in-house experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of construction-law experience.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating project agreements.
• In-house experience preferred.
• Ability to advise internal stakeholders across project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations across construction transactions.
• Provide practical, solutions-oriented legal guidance.
• Partner with operations and leadership to shape risk management.
• Support project execution for the Central Region.
