Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Construction Department on a highly coordinated on-site role. You will report to the Project Superintendent and Manager, interface with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors, and help resolve complex coordination issues.

The position requires field presence and flexibility as project locations vary. Starting salary range is $78,000-$81,100, with potential assignment adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating design and construction documents and field coordination.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and quantify materials from documents.
• Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Experience coordinating CSA elements across civil, architectural and structural work.

Responsibilities

• Run meetings with area managers, design team, subs, and clients.
• Coordinate submittals and RFIs for accuracy and functionality.
• Field survey layout, control lines, and benchmarks.
• Assist with coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Prepare and organize information for training client personnel.
