Job summary

Scorpio seeks a Controller to lead financial operations and strengthen internal controls while supporting strategic decision-making as we scale. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee job costing, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

This role partners with project managers and executives to translate strategy into actionable plans, driving timely reporting and balance sheet integrity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction.
• Experience managing revenues of $200M+ and strong cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations and internal controls.
• Oversee job costing, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Produce timely financial reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with project managers and executives to drive financial strategy.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and timely corrective actions.
• Support payroll processing and labor cost allocations.
• Translate strategy into actionable plans for finance and operations.
