Zusammenfassung

Scorpio seeks a Controller to lead financial operations and strengthen internal controls while supporting strategic decision-making as we scale. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee job costing, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

This role partners with project managers and executives to translate strategy into actionable plans, driving timely reporting and balance sheet integrity across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance/business or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction.
• Experience managing revenues of $200M+ and strong cost control.

WhatYouWillDo:

• Refineinternalcontrolframeworks,ensuringappropriatesegregationofduties,invoiceapprovalworkflows,andaccurateaccumulationoffinancialdata.
• Overseebudgeting,forecasting,andreportingwhilepartneringwithoperationstoensureaccuracyacrossWIPschedules,regionalprojections,andprojectmilestones
• Ensurebalancesheetaccountsareproperlyanalyzedeachmonthandthattimelycorrectiveactionistakenwhenrequired.
• EstablishandmaintainA/Rqualitystandards,focusingonpromptcollections,zerodelinquentreceivables,andminimalunbilledcosts.
• Drivetimely,accuratetimereportingtosupportpreciseprojectforecasting,payrollprocessing,andlaborburdenallocations.
• Conductfinancialduediligencetoproactivelyidentify,report,andmitigateoperationalrisks
• Translateorganizationalstrategy,ensuringteammembersunderstandtheirroleinachievingbroadercompanygoals.
• Manageworkindependentlywhilesupportingthecareerdevelopmentandcoachingofteammembers.
