Job summary

Western Digital's Corporate Real Estate team seeks an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to serve as the financial and contractual backbone of our project delivery. You will manage cost tracking, contract administration, procurement coordination, and compliance across an active construction portfolio.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to ensure projects stay within budget and that accounting standards are met throughout the lifecycle of CIP and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction contracts management or owner-side role.
• Proficient in Oracle ERP or a comparable enterprise financial system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Solid understanding of construction cost accounting: job costing, cash flow forecasting, accruals, CIP.
• Experience managing lien waivers, insurance compliance, and contractor payment processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile monthly job cost reports in Oracle ERP; develop and maintain project budgets and cash flow models.
• Perform weekly cost reporting and variance analysis across active projects.
• Coordinate monthly accruals with Finance to ensure costs are recorded in proper period.
• Support CIP reviews with Fixed Assets and process asset capitalization on project close-out.
• Review contracts, statements of work, and amendments for financial requirements and risk.
• Process and track change orders; maintain PO commitments and contract records in Oracle ERP.
• Review and approve contractor/supplier invoices to ensure budget alignment.
• Provide financial input on new contracts and statements of work.
• Manage lien waivers and ensure insurance certificates meet contract requirements.
