Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President within Arch Construction to lead technical underwriting and account management for Middle Market construction casualty programs. You will evaluate risks, price and present quotes, and coordinate governance with Risk Engineering and Claims.

The role also drives renewal strategy and client service excellence. You will build and maintain agency relationships, manage pre-renewal reviews, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of Casualty underwriting experience with Construction underwriting experience preferred.
• Established broker relationships within the region would be ideal.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required, CPCU or CRIS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical Underwriting: review new and renewal accounts; price and prepare Casualty quotes.
• Coordinate administrative duties for existing and prospective accounts; maintain file documentation.
• Account Management: manage post-bind activities, renewals, and client service plans; ensure retention and rate goals.
• Sales and Marketing: develop relationships with agencies and insureds to generate qualified submissions and growth.
