Abbott Construction is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive lead generation and secure profitable construction projects with design-build and GCCM methods valued at $25M+. You will lead targeted client outreach, build relationships with architects and developers, and coordinate with project executives to shape win strategies.

You will manage pre-qualification, procurement, and engagement across public and private opportunities, while mentoring teammates and representing the firm at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, and/or construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ construction-related experience, business development, and marketing experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Capable of communicating effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of list of primary customer targets in conjunction with Project Executive.
• Develop criteria to qualify leads and report on potential project opportunities to the Project Executive.
• Work with Project Executives to leverage their existing relationships into new opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining relationships with architects, owners, engineers and others outside of the company.
• Serve as the public face of the business unit in all lead generations and business development activities.
