Job summary

Wiss in Florham Park, NJ is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to oversee audit engagements across construction clients. You will manage the engagement from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery.

In this role you will mentor staff, review statements for GAAP/GAAS compliance, and build strong client relationships while driving practice growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience with audit management.
• Construction industry experience required; engineering experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience performing/overseeing overhead audits.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review and approve financial statements and workpapers in line with GAAP/GAAS.
• Coordinate engagement teams to deliver quality, timely results.
• Mentor and develop staff, providing feedback and coaching.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and firm growth.
