Job summary

Hodess in Attleboro, MA seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the full AP function in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You will manage invoice processing, vendor and subcontractor payments, and AP reporting while upholding internal controls and compliance.

The role requires hands-on CMiC and Sage experience, strong construction accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Project Management, Purchasing, Operations, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience in construction or project-based industries.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets and reporting.
• Hands-on CMiC and Sage experience required.
• Ability to manage AP end-to-end and reconcile vendor accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment.
• Oversee high-volume vendor, subcontractor, and general expense invoices.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, POs, contracts, and job costs.
• Ensure invoices are coded to the correct job, cost code, phase, department, or GL account.
• Manage payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) and monitor AP aging.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain controls over vendor setup and banking information.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional relationships.
