Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close experience.
• Proficiency with journal entries, AP, financial statement preparation, and bank reconciliations.
• Construction accounting experience with job costing and WIP reporting.
• Experience with construction ERP or accounting systems; Foundation Software preferred.
• Experience with union payroll and construction job costing preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements with reconciliations and full month-end close.
• Maintain the general ledger and trial balance integrity.
• Manage construction accounting processes: job costing, WIP, over/under billings, costs, profitability.
• Administer AIA and progress billing including retainage and change orders.
• Oversee payroll processing, including union payroll and related remittances.
• Ensure prevailing wage compliance when applicable.
• Handle payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W‑2s, 1099s).
• Track intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy.
