Valley Precision Grading, a TenCate company, is seeking a Senior Accountant with hands-on construction project accounting and cost accounting experience to maintain accurate financial records and support a timely month-end close.

Working with the Controller and Project Accountants, this individual will independently manage recurring journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and reporting schedules, with a key focus on preparing work-in-progress (WIP) reports from accounting and job-cost

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with journal entries, reconciliations, GL, and month-end close.
Hands-on construction project accounting including job cost, cost allocation and WIP schedules.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals.
Proficient Excel (formulas, lookups, PivotTables).
Experience with ERP software; ability to learn multiple systems.

Mansioni

Own and maintain recurring month-end journal entries, accruals and close schedules.
Prepare and reconcile general ledger, bank, credit card and balance sheet accounts; resolve discrepancies.
Support monthly financial reporting, management schedules, variance analysis and year-end close activities.
