Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. seeks a Senior Construction Accountant to manage accounting for service roofing and general contracting businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Hybrid role with part-time work from home and days at the Beachwood headquarters, reporting to the Roofing Controller.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in General Accounting or Audit, strong US GAAP knowledge, and familiarity with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and POC. CPA progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting for service contracts (e.g., construction contracts, general contracting services, roofing installation services).
• Minimum 4+ years in General Accounting or Audit.
• Knowledge of US GAAP; SAP FI/CO/PA and OneStream experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and annual close for service roofing and general contracting businesses.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for contract assets and WIP.
• Coordinate controls related to revenue recognition (ASC 606) and POC.
• Interface with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Maintain adherence to US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley controls; ensure proper accounting records.
