Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Accountant to oversee accounting for its service roofing and general contracting businesses in the U.S. and Canada.

The role emphasizes POC revenue recognition, close processes, and SOX/GAAP compliance. The position reports to the Roofing Controller and offers a hybrid work arrangement at the Beachwood headquarters. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in general accounting or audit, familiarity with SAP FI/CO/PA, and experience with consolidation tools

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting for service contracts (construction/roofing)
• Minimum 4+ years in General Accounting or Audit
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO/PA modules is a plus
• Consolidation software experience (OneStream) is a plus
• Knowledge of US GAAP is required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Own critical accounting and reporting for service roofing and general contracting businesses, including month-end close
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures
• Collaborate with construction managers on percentage of completion revenue recognition controls
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for contract assets and WIP
• Document processes and strengthen control environment with contract admin
• Review balance sheet and income statements for close accuracy
• Perform monthly/quarterly controls per company policy
• Interface with internal and external auditors and assist audit requests
