Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Mission Simulation Engineer III to lead development of a comprehensive TeraWave integrated mission simulation framework. You’ll model orbital mechanics, spacecraft power, payload beam assignments, and traffic routing across RF and optical links to optimize coverage and performance.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of spacecraft systems engineering experience, strong Python/MATLAB/C++ skills, and a proven ability to integrate physics-based models into maintainable

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, applied mathematics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience in spacecraft systems engineering, mission analysis, or constellation simulation.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++, with multi-physics modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the TeraWave integrated mission simulation model.
• Develop high-fidelity orbital mechanics models and coverage analysis.
• Build beam assignment and payload scheduling models for RF and optical links.
• Create and maintain simulation capabilities for ISL and ground-to-space links and for data routing.
