Business Network International is seeking a Senior Accountant, Consolidations to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for a multi-entity, multi-currency organization. The role prepares consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, and currency translations, ensuring GAAP compliance and complete, audit-ready financial statements.

Collaborate with regional finance teams and auditors to strengthen controls and reporting quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on consolidation and financial reporting responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, and financial reporting principles.
Experience preparing and reviewing consolidation entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a multi-entity environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets, reconcile complex accounts, and build clear supporting schedules.
Experience using ERP and consolidation systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Hyperion HFM, FCCS, BlackLine, or comparable platforms.
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage recurring deadlines in a complex close environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain accounting matters to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
Ability to use approved AI-enabled and automation tools responsibly to support analysis, reconciliation, documentation, reporting, and process efficiency while maintaining data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation activities for a multi-entity business with intercompany and foreign currency activity.
Prepare and review consolidation entries, including eliminations, foreign currency translation adjustments, intercompany activity, and book-to-book adjustments.
Review consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and reporting packages for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
Analyze consolidated financial results, investigate material fluctuations and variances, identify root causes, and communicate explanations and actions to Finance leadership.
Lead intercompany reconciliation and elimination processes with regional Finance teams to resolve differences and ensure timely settlements.
Monitor controls, identify gaps, and implement improvements to strengthen accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
Support preparation of internal and external financial statements and disclosures in accordance with approved reporting requirements.
Support consolidated and entity-level audits by providing schedules and documentation.
Serve as a knowledgeable accounting partner to regional teams, clarifying consolidation requirements and resolving technical matters.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve close speed and data integrity.
