Job summary

IGT is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Close & Consolidations to lead the Company’s global financial close and consolidation processes under U.S. GAAP. You will coordinate across regions, manage intercompany eliminations and currency translation, and drive standardization and automation of close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA highly desirable.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant experience in corporate accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, and/or public accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial consolidations, and SOX requirements.
• Experience with complex, multi-entity financial consolidations and global close processes.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, consolidation eliminations, foreign currency translation, and financial statement analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounting processes and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across levels.
• Strong leadership and business partnering skills with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual global close and consolidation processes.
• Coordinate close activities across global units and entities.
• Establish and maintain the global close calendar and procedures.
• Review significant journal entries and analyze unusual transactions.
• Oversee intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation adjustments.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and reconcile differences with global teams.
• Review consolidated balance sheets and income statements for fluctuations.
• Ensure timely resolution of reconciliations.
• Partner with regional controllers to ensure consistent policies.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and other major transactions.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting on new standards affecting consolidation.
• Prepare and review reporting schedules for external reporting.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for senior management.
• Lead consolidation system governance and enhancements.
