Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed seeks a Sr. Consolidation Accountant to ensure accurate North American financial reporting and consolidation. You’ll prepare quarterly statements, administer consolidation systems, and coordinate regulatory reporting while partnering with Finance, HR, Legal, and other stakeholders.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting/consolidation, a BA/BS in accounting or finance, and strong Excel skills. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting or consolidation experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with financial consolidation systems and large, complex data sets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyse, reconcile, and communicate financial information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly financial statements for CertainTeed, LLC, including supporting schedules and related analyses, in accordance with applicable accounting and reporting requirements.
• Support the financial consolidation and reporting process by reviewing financial data, investigating variances, and helping ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Serve as a system administrator for the FCCS Oracle Consolidation database.
• Partner with the Human Resources Compensation team to administer the U.S. Stock Saving Plan database, including reviews of grant units, monthly compensation expense calculations, and validation of participant payouts.
