Job summary

LVT, based in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Senior Connectivity Engineer to shape how information moves across all products, building a scalable AI-driven platform. You will bridge goals with practical architectures, lead initiatives from concept to deployment, and mentor engineers.

This role is in-office with travel up to 15% and reports to the Manager of Edge Connectivity. You will lead cross-functional connectivity initiatives, develop reference architectures, and own lifecycle management

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in systems, networking, embedded connectivity, telecommunications, or related engineering.
• Documented ownership of complex technical projects from concept through deployment.
• Deep L2/L3 networking skills: VLAN, QoS, NAT, VRFs, policy-based routing, DHCP/DNS nuances.
• Hands-on hardware experience at scale, API-driven automation, and fleet operations.
• Experience evaluating/integrating/testing embedded modem modules and connected-device platforms.
• Automation capabilities with Python or shell scripting for config generation and telemetry.
• Deep understanding of eUICC/eSIM, multi-IMSI, dual-WAN/dual-SIM, cost/performance modeling.
• Excellent documentation and communication with disciplined change/incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Connectivity Development: drive development, integration, validation, and lifecycle management of connectivity solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Product, Hardware, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Operations from concept to production.
• Technical Investigations: lead POCs, vendor evaluations, and technology assessments.
• Architecture & Standards: develop connectivity reference architectures, standards, test methodologies, and deployment procedures.
• Team Mentorship: mentor engineers and analysts, share knowledge, and develop engineering standards.
• Product Integration: evaluate, integrate, validate cellular modem modules, and support carrier certification.
• Lifecycle Management: own connectivity lifecycle activities including firmware maintenance and updates.
• Technical Representation: represent connectivity in strategic discussions with leadership and partners.
