Job summary

Command Cyber Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager to support the Hill Component Enterprise Data Center IT Operations & Maintenance at Hill AFB, Utah.

This role will establish, manage, and maintain the configuration baseline for hardware, software, network, and infrastructure while coordinating across engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure changes are documented, authorized, and compliant with DoD and Air Force policies.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in configuration management, change control, and CMDB administration within a DoD or enterprise-scale data center environment.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and version control tools (Git).
• Knowledge of Configuration Management standards (e.g., MIL-HDBK-61B, NIST SP 800-128) and RMF processes.

Responsibilities

• Baseline Management: Develop and maintain a configuration baseline for hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Custodian & Inventory Control: Perform equipment custodian duties, including inventory, tool, document, and software library management, configuration control, and auditing.
• CMDB Administration: Maintain and update the CMDB to track data center components with high accuracy and proper mapping.
• Compliance & Drift Remediation: Detect and remediate unauthorized configuration drift to maintain high compliance.
• Change Coordination: Manage change activities using ServiceNow and JIRA per DoW and local requirements.
• Traceability & Version Control: Maintain 100% traceability of code and configuration changes with proper tickets and version control.
