Job summary

Command Cyber Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager to establish and maintain configuration baselines for Hill CEDC IT Operations at Hill AFB, Utah. The role ensures change activity is documented, authorized, and compliant with DoD and Air Force policies.

The candidate will coordinate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams, manage CMDB data, and provide monthly reporting while leveraging ServiceNow and JIRA for change control and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with relevant experience in DoD or large data-center environments.
• 5–7 years of configuration management, change control, and CMDB administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and version control tools (Git).

Responsibilities

• Baseline Management: Develop and maintain a configuration baseline for hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Custodian & Inventory Control: Perform equipment custodian duties, inventory, and software library management.
• CMDB Administration: Maintain CMDB accuracy and map changes to configuration items.
• Compliance & Drift Remediation: Detect and remediate configuration drift to maintain high compliance.
• Change Coordination: Manage change activities using ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Traceability & Version Control: Maintain 100% traceability of changes in version control systems.
• Review Board Collaboration: Participate in CCB and ERB/CrossTalks.
• Risk & Rollback Planning: Coordinate risk assessments and rollback plans.
• Monthly CM Reporting: Deliver monthly configuration reports.
• Script & Repository Management: Catalog source codes and documentation in repositories.
