Job summary

ASR International is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to support the JCSE enterprise infrastructure and CM program. You will manage configuration identification, control, status accounting, verification, and audits across a DoD environment, ensuring CMDB accuracy and supporting CCB activities.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity, asset managers, and support teams to implement ITSM best practices and maintain configuration data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of Configuration Management experience in DoD or enterprise IT environments.
• Active Secret security clearance; US citizenship.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITSM training.
• Experience developing and maintaining CMDB and CM processes.

Responsibilities

• Support CM identification, control, status accounting, verification and audit activities.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy, relationships, and attributes.
• Coordinate and support CCB meetings and change management reviews.
• Review RFCs, engineering changes, deviations, and implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain CM plans, change management plans, SOPs, and governance docs.
• Establish configuration baselines for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IPTs and stakeholders to ensure CM processes are followed.
• Validate changes and reflect them in CMDB and repositories.
• Perform data quality reviews and support audits and corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly status reports and documentation.
• Provide CM guidance and training to users.
