Job summary

Torch Technologies in Kettering, OH seeks a Senior Configuration Manager to lead CM programs, manage baselines, and ensure government ownership of system artifacts. You will coordinate with CM, QA, planning, risk, and systems engineering teams to maintain traceability and audit readiness.

The role requires extensive CM experience, DoD familiarity, and strong writing skills, with onsite work near WPAFB. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Advanced written communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong CM processes knowledge and ability to implement audits.
• Experience in software/hardware configuration management and baselining.
• Ability to lead cross-functional CM activities and reviews.
• Familiarity with DoD CM standards and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM support across CM, QA, PP, RM, and SE activities.
• Maintain CM of artifacts (docs, source code, builds) for government use.
• Convene and participate in change control boards and audits.
• Track configuration items and deliverables across environments.
