Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies seeks a Senior Configuration Management Specialist (Level III) to independently execute and coordinate CM across programs, products, and lifecycle phases. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Software, Systems Engineering, and Program Management to maintain configuration integrity from concept through production and sustainment.

This on-site role offers location flexibility among Dallas-Fort Worth, Fort Walton Beach, or San Luis Obispo;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of CM experience or equivalent.
• Hands‑on CM activities across hardware, software, firmware, or integrated products.
• Experience in regulated aerospace/defense environments and lifecycle records.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day CM execution for programs, products, and projects.
• Develop and maintain CM plans, procedures, and lifecycle records.
• Establish configuration identification and product structures.
• Coordinate baseline activities across lifecycle stages.
• Support and facilitate CM boards (CCB/SCCB) and governance.
• Review change documentation for completeness and traceability.
• Maintain status accounting, baselines, and deliveries.
• Ensure changes are implemented across drawings, BOMs, and systems.
• Provide CM guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
