Job summary

Uline is seeking a Senior Configuration Management Engineer to own the CMDB, ensure data accuracy, and drive automation across our IT landscape.

You will build reports and dashboards for audits and executive decisions, implement policies and standards, and collaborate with multiple teams to scale CMDB capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with CMDB and ITSM platforms.
• Practical scripting in PowerShell, Python, SQL or APIs.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the CMDB ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Develop reports and dashboards for audits, status and exec decisions.
• Improve data accuracy via automated workflows and integrations.
• Establish configuration and asset management standards and policies.

Position Responsibilities

• Own and manage the CMDB, ensuring data is accurate, current and properly documented.
• Develop reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to support audits, configuration status, lifecycle and executive decision making.
• Improve data accuracy by implementing automated workflows, discovery tools and system integrations.
• Establish and implement Configuration and Asset Management systems, standards and policies to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to gather and analyze data, translating findings into scalable CMBD capabilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong understanding of ITSM products such as ServiceNow, Flexera One, HP Service Manager or BMC Atrium.
• Practical coding and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, SQL, APIs or similar technologies.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
