Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Configuration Engineer to lead software CM and release engineering for VA projects in a fully remote setting. The role requires building and maintaining CM tools, defining standards, and ensuring repeatable deployments across environments.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, and drive best practices in CM, DevOps, and CI/CD with focus on regulated federal environments.

Formación

• Experience leading complex builds and releases across multiple environments.
• Experience in regulated or federal environments.
• Strong CM and release engineering expertise.
• Knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.
• Proficiency with CM practices and source control.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CM and release engineering for software products and migrations to cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery.
• Design and implement build procedures to support product development.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
• Ensure compliant, repeatable build/deploy processes across projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts.
