Qualifications

• Experience leading complex software builds and releases across multiple environments.
• Experience in large regulated or federal environments.
• Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering.
• Broad knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.
• Experience with CM practices (identification, baselining, change control, status accounting).
• Scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with vendor patches and COTS software management.
• Infrastructure as code and environment management (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiar with CM tools training and software quality practices.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software.
• Perform CM and release tasks to document and align with hardware configurations.
• Design and automate tools to improve software modeling and development.
• Create build procedures to support product development and usage.
• Develop CM standards for company-wide use.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices.
• Provide technical guidance for complex problems; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior analysts/engineers in CM best practices.
• Ensure repeatable build and deployment processes across projects.
