Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Configuration Control Engineering Manager to own configuration management for the design and construction of a first‑of‑a‑kind nuclear medical isotope production facility.

This role ensures the design basis remains internally consistent, that licensing bases stay aligned as the design evolves, and that changes flow through disciplined processes from engineering through procurement and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Eight (8) or more years of engineering experience with formal configuration management and design control.
• Three (3) or more years of leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously: identify what needs to be done, build the plan, and execute.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make timely decisions across design and operation.

Responsibilities

• Owns the configuration management program, ensuring design basis remains internally consistent and traceable to licensing basis.
• Owns the design change control process and routes changes to licensing evaluation as required.
• Owns engineering procedures and aligns them with QA program requirements.
• Owns configuration control tools and directs development of new tools.
• Assembles final design packages with traceability to design and licensing bases.
• Hires and directs the EPC coordinator; manages interface between engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Oversees NCRs, RFIs, and field changes; drives resolution of issues.
• Directs as-built reconciliation to ensure installed configuration matches design basis.
• Owns system turnover from Engineering to Operations, including turnover package development.
