Job summary

Kent Companies seeks a General Superintendent to lead field operations for multiple concrete placement projects in the Houston area. You will direct Superintendents, Foremen, and field crews, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with Project Managers and operations teams.

The role emphasizes developing field leadership, maintaining safety culture, and driving productivity across projects with a focus on cost control and contractual compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall field leadership and operational oversight for multiple concrete place-and-finish projects.
• Direct, coordinate, and support Superintendents and Foremen in planning, organizing, and executing daily work.
• Establish expectations for field leadership regarding productivity, schedule performance, and resource utilization.
• Oversee staffing, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet production goals.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate site logistics, concrete placement, finishing, and interfacing trades for efficiency.
