Job summary

Walbec Group in the Midwest is seeking a Concrete Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial sites. You will ensure accurate reporting of materials, equipment, and hours, while enforcing safety rules and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction, 2–4 years in leadership, and a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required. You’ll coordinate field operations, mentor team members, and liaise with supervision to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years in construction; 2-4 years in leadership roles.
• Valid driver's license; CDL desired but not required.
• Willingness to join a local union (union membership not required at hire).
• Punctual and dependable; able to work varied hours including nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage reporting of materials, equipment, and hours for the crew.
• Oversee safety of personnel and public, and regulatory compliance.
• Operate power equipment and other machinery as needed.
• Report accurately to Superintendent or management; coordinate with site leadership.
