Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing concrete construction projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecast finances and maximize profitability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and change orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of scheduling practices.
• Knowledge of material submittal, RFPs and RFIs; building codes and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall management of concrete construction projects.
• Review scope, bid drawings and specs to meet client expectations.
• Forecast budgets and control project costs to protect margins.
• Lead pre-start-up site visits and safety planning.
• Plan and maintain project schedules and track progress.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, foremen, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and manage change orders.
