Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Conceptual EPC Estimator in Houston, TX to develop capital cost estimates from early concept through defined phases for industrial facilities. You will prepare AACE Class 5 through Class 3 estimates, work with engineering, procurement, and project controls, and communicate results to teams and clients.

You will review process descriptions, equipment lists, PFDs, P&IDs, and plotting plans; establish scope, assumptions, and pricing bases; and help drive risk assessments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial capital cost estimating.
• Ability to develop conceptual through budget-level estimates.
• Experience with EPC projects and cost drivers.
• Proficient in Excel and estimation software.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop AACE Class 5 to Class 3 estimates for EPC projects.
• Review project information and interpret process documents.
• Prepare Basis of Estimate with assumptions and exclusions.
• Develop or validate direct/indirect costs for all project needs.
• Identify cost drivers, risks, and contingencies.
• Present results and coordinate with project teams.
• Support improvements to estimating tools and databases.
