Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Estimator in Houston, TX Energy Corridor to independently develop TIC estimates for E-, EP-, and EPC projects from ROM to Definitive. You’ll interpret PFDs/PIDs and equipment data to build cost models, prepare reports for clients, and guide project teams through estimate development with risk analysis.

Required: 10+ years’ experience in industrial construction estimation, proficiency with Icarus and/or Kbase, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a senior estimator in industrial construction.
• Experience developing capital cost estimates with Icarus and/or Kbase.
• Strong communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with estimating processes and vendor bid reviews is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Access desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and clarifications for TIC.
• Generate estimates for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and other industrial projects.
• Interpret PFDs, PIDs, equipment specs and data sheets for estimating input.
• Prepare and maintain estimate plans, Basis of Estimate and risk mitigations.
• Lead the estimate development with project teams and present findings to management.
• Analyze changes, prepare variance summaries, and conduct risk analysis.
