Audubon Companies in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Estimator to develop TIC estimates for industrial projects from ROM to Definitive. You will calculate labor and material costs for equipment, systems, construction and engineering, and prepare cost reports for management and clients.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial construction estimating, advanced skills with Aspen In-Plant Cost Estimator (Icarus) and Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Kbase), and strong communication, vendor

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience as a senior estimator in industrial construction.
• Experience with Aspentech In-Plant Cost Estimator (Icarus) and Kbase essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills required.
• Willingness to work on-site in Houston and manage estimates end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive TIC estimates and basis of estimate.
• Generate cost estimates for oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical and related industries.
• Interpret PFDs, P&IDs, specs and data sheets for estimating input.
• Prepare cost reports and communicate findings to management and clients.
• Identify risks and mitigation opportunities within estimates.
• Lead the estimate development process and coordinate with project teams.
• Obtain supplier quotes and perform site visits for conditions.
• Conduct change order reviews and variance analyses.
