Job summary

SR2 in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to own the perception stack from model to robot. You’ll deploy vision solutions on real robots operating in messy environments.

You’ll design, train and ship vision models for detection, segmentation and pose estimation, and work with robotics, controls and hardware teams to bring perception systems into production. Strong CS fundamentals and hands-on CV are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and production-quality Python and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying vision models.
• Solid classical CV foundation (geometry, calibration, 3D) alongside modern deep learning.
• Experience with real sensors and real-world failure modes.

Senior Computer Vision Engineer | Robotics | Boston, MA

I’m working with a VC-backed robotics company in Boston that’s moving past demos and into real deployments. Their robots work in messy, unpredictable environments, and perception is the thing that makes or breaks them.

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll own the perception stack from model to robot. Your models will run on hardware doing real work, not just in notebooks.

• Work directly with the robotics, controls and hardware teams, so you can see your work move something in the real world
• Build the data and evaluation loops that make perception better every week
