Job summary

Palladyne AI Corp. in Salt Lake City develops perception, reasoning, and decision-making software for industrial robots. You will work on object detection, localization, tracking, and pose estimation, testing algorithms on physical robots and calibrating camera systems.

Collaborate on data tools, validate system performance, and contribute to technical documentation while advancing production-quality software in a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a quantitative field with at least two years of CV/ML experience.
• Experience with deep learning, foundation models, PyTorch and TensorRT.
• Proficiency in production-quality C++ and Python; software testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain perception, reasoning, and decision-making software for industrial robots.
• Implement object detection, localization, tracking, and pose estimation modules.
• Integrate and calibrate camera systems and test algorithms on real robots.
• Build data tooling, validate system performance, and document technical work.

Requirements
