Northrop Grumman, Western Region Manufacturing and Operations, has an opening for a Principal Computer Systems Architect / Sr. Principal Computer Systems Architect (Level 3/4) in Redondo Beach, CA.

Requirements include 5+ years in mixed Linux/Windows environments, RHEL, Windows Server, and Cisco networking; TS/SCI with Poly is required. The role supports the operations high bay floor, EGSE test sets, and access control, with about 10% travel and 24x7 on‑call during critical phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
• Available to travel periodically ~10% when needed.
• Working knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and static IP configuration, VLANs and network security.
• Working knowledge of network drive shares and the ability to manage share access.
• Proficiency with Windows 10, 11, Windows Server, Linux-RHEL 7,8,9 or other Linux distributions.
• Working knowledge of security best practices, access control and incident response fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues and communicate effectively in a collaborative setting.
• Top Secret (TS) and active SCI Clearances with Poly within the last 5 years is required at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Support daily requests from the operations high bay floor and SV EGSE test sets/workstations.
• Provide network access to various high bay locations and manage share access.
• Handle border crossing of new EGSE test sets and hardware onto the ATL network.
• Travel ~10% and support offsite activities when required; 24x7 on-call during critical test phases.
