Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Computer Systems Analyst (Linux Systems Administrator) to support classified government contracts. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, Linux server administration, and AWS cloud experience.

The position can be filled at Level 3 or Level 4 and will be on-site at Morrisville, NC or Linthicum, MD, with travel up to 10% and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with IT experience required per level or an equivalent combination.
• Security+ CE certification or equivalent IAT level II cert required to be considered.
• Experience with Linux Server Administration in a classified environment.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining resources in an AWS cloud environment.
• Must have current TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph adjudicated within the last 5 years; ability to obtain required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Linux administration for classified government contracts.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and report task statuses.
• Support multiple networks and perform Linux admin tasks with minimal direction.
• Maintain system reliability through installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and virus protection.
