Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Manhattan Beach, CA, is seeking an Associate Computer Systems Architect/Computer Systems Architect (Level 1/2) to join the GSDP STEE team. The role focuses on administering Linux servers, configuring hardened OS, and supporting diverse test environments.

The candidate will operate in a security-conscious environment, with requirements to obtain DoD Top Secret or SCI access, and may work with both Linux and Windows platforms while applying compliance tools and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 0+ years (Level 1) or 2+ years (Level 2) of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret or SCI access in a timely manner.
• Experience administering Linux systems (RHEL 8/9, Rocky 8/9, Ubuntu 20+).
• Familiarity with Windows workstation/server administration (Windows 11/2022).
• Knowledge of security controls (CMMC/DFARS/RMF/DOD).
• Proficient with Nessus, SCC SCAP, STIG Viewer for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers/workstations and ensure proper configuration.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardened Linux OS and services.
• Provide on-call 24/7 pager support during critical testing phases.
