Job summary

NSA seeks Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture at the Fort Meade complex, using commercial and government technology. You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement solutions aligned with project needs.

Qualifications include CS degree with relevant lifecycle experience; strong programming, data modeling, and security architecture skills. This full-time role requires US citizenship and adherence to NSA security standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (CS); related fields with CS coursework may be considered.
• Relevant experience in design/development of computer/information systems across lifecycle.
• Experience with engineering hardware and/or software; includes requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Completion of military training in JCAC counts toward experience.
• Entry levels defined as FULL PERFORMANCE, SENIOR, or EXPERT with respective degree/experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis and changes based on requirements.
• Integrate industry trends and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify and recommend solutions.
• Produce compliance results for project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and map data requirements to logical and physical models.
• Propose standard information transport methods between IT systems.
• Align enterprise data models with physical data models.
