Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) is seeking Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture, evaluate technologies, and collaborate with technical and application teams to deliver compliant solutions across the lifecycle. Applicants should hold a CS-focused degree with foundational CS coursework.

Position is based at Fort George G. Meade Complex, MD, with a focus on data modeling, data transport standards, and security architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with foundational CS coursework in algorithms, data structures, programming languages and math.
• Relevant experience in designing/developing computer or information systems across lifecycle stages.
• Military training (e.g., JCAC) or equivalent experience may count toward requirements.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture by analyzing research and introducing changes based on project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify, evaluate and recommend technical solutions for project needs.
• Produce compliance results for established project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and analyze data requirements, map legacy data to logical/physical models.
• Propose standard information transport methods between systems and knowledge databases.
• Ensure alignment of enterprise data models with physical data models.
