Job summary

NSA is seeking Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture and integrate emerging technologies across hardware, software, and security domains at the Fort Meade complex in Maryland.

The role requires a CS degree with relevant experience and offers a structured career path across levels (Full Performance, Senior, Expert) within the NSA's DCIPS framework and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science with related coursework in algorithms, computer architecture, data structures, and mathematics.
• Experience across the lifecycle of computer or information systems, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Entry/ Senior/ Expert levels defined by years of experience and degree, with specified combinations.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis and changes based on project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, emerging technologies and standards and new vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify, evaluate and recommend solutions.
• Produce compliance results for project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define data requirements and map legacy data to logical/physical models.
• Propose standard information transport methods between IT systems and data stores.
• Align enterprise data models with physical data models.
