Job summary

NSA in Fort Meade, MD seeks Computer Systems Architects to modernize IT architecture using commercial and government hardware, software, and security products, aligning data models with enterprise standards. You will collaborate with technical teams to evaluate and implement solutions that support project requirements.

Open to multiple Seniority levels; strong CS foundation and experience across lifecycle stages are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree must be in Computer Science or closely related field with core CS coursework.
• Relevant experience in design/development of computer or information systems over lifecycle.
• Military training such as JCAC may count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Modernize IT architecture through analysis and changes based on project requirements.
• Integrate industry trends, technologies, and vendor features.
• Collaborate with technical and application teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions.
• Produce compliance results for established project requirements and IT architecture.
• Define and analyze data requirements; map legacy data to logical and physical models.
• Propose standard information transport methods between IT systems.
• Align enterprise data models with physical data models.
