Recruits Lab is partnering with an innovative, AI-driven biotechnology company transforming drug discovery through single-cell biology, multi-omics, and machine learning. A Senior Computational Biologist will lead cutting-edge research, analyze complex datasets, and collaborate with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic partners to advance discoveries.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology or related field with 2 years postdoc, or MSc with 6 years relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), transcriptomics and multi-omics analysis.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Experience applying machine learning to biological datasets.
• Research experience in immunology, immuno-oncology, or autoimmune diseases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex computational research projects.
• Strong scientific communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• First-author publications and/or demonstrated industry project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational biology projects involving single-cell and multi-omics datasets.
• Develop and implement advanced bioinformatics and machine learning approaches.
• Analyze transcriptomic datasets to identify meaningful biological insights.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary scientific and technical teams.
• Lead research projects involving external pharmaceutical and academic collaborators.
• Present complex scientific findings through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
• Apply emerging AI technologies, including LLM-based tools, to accelerate research workflows.
